This workshop is sponsored by the National Science Foundation's Instrument Development for Biological Research (IDBR) program and will take place May 1 - 2 at the Holiday Inn, Rosslyn, VA.
This workshop is a great opportunity for biologists, physicists, engineers, industry experts, government officials and keen entrepreneurs to discuss successful approaches for development of novel instrumentation for biological research and to take full advantage of instrumentation's exceptionally high potential through broad dissemination and outreach. During this conference, more than dozen scientists and researchers will provide presentations related to the workshop's topic and participate in the discussion on steps to take to impact US competitiveness in areas relevant to IDBR . The workshop will also include a poster session during which all IDBR program PIs will report the educational and research outcomes of their individual projects.
